THE SCULPTURES illustrated here are single edition direct works in Acrylstone, which is a Portland based medium. The sculptures are hollow, built on a steel mesh "shell" armature, they are modest in weight and quite strong. They are suitable for interior and exterior settings depending upon their patina treatment. This unique process gives the sculpture freedom of form, a departure from the monolithic shapes associated with stone sculpture and a sense of the air or negative space. Geoffrey Myers has exhibited in New York at Ramscale Fine Art, in Boston at the Copley Society, several East Coast galleries, and in Palm Beach at Gasiunasen. A complete list is available on request.
